Esther Priegue, LMSW
Esther Priegue is a licensed clinical social worker. She graduated Bachelor of Arts, Sociology, and Spanish Literature, Minor in American Studies in American Studies from the State University of New York at Buffalo, Buffalo, New York, in 1995. She also took her master’s degree in social work at Fordham University, in 1999. She is a skilled and multi-faceted professional offering an exceptional performance record. She helps meet the basic and complex needs of communities and people.

Forensic Division of Social Service
This division provides and addresses the following therapeutic supportive interventions:

Marriage & Family Division and Intervention
The Behavioral Health department’s Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) clinicians provide comprehensive care to individuals, couples, groups, and families. When working with an MFT clinician, the therapeutic approach centers on gaining a deep understanding of patients’ symptoms and diagnoses within the context of their interactions and relationships.
Family therapy is often the preferred treatment method for a range of issues, including depression, alcoholism, relational conflicts, and challenges within child/adolescent-parent relationships, such as suicidal tendencies and high-risk behaviors. The positive outcomes of family therapy for severe mental illnesses encompass enhanced overall well-being, reduced occurrences of medical illnesses, decreased utilization of medical services, and an increased sense of self-efficacy.
Our department offers the following support:
