Marriage & Family Division and Intervention

The Behavioral Health department’s Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) clinicians provide comprehensive care to individuals, couples, groups, and families. Family therapy is often the preferred treatment method for a range of issues, including depression, alcoholism, relational conflicts, and challenges within child/adolescent-parent relationships, such as suicidal tendencies and high-risk behaviors. The positive outcomes of family therapy for severe mental illnesses encompass enhanced overall well-being, reduced occurrences of medical illnesses, decreased utilization of medical services, and an increased sense of self-efficacy.

Our department offers the following support:

  • Therapeutic assessment for developmental trauma
  • Counseling for depression and anxiety management
  • Cognitive behavioral therapy
  • Assistance with male sexual dysfunction
  • Support for challenging behaviors, coping, and family transition

Check Out What Patients Are Saying

I always have a good experience at this Doral medical office. The staff are always extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I especially appreciate that they have a large TV in their waiting room, as well as a large glass enclosure with beautiful birds.
