What is Bartholin's Cyst?

Blockage of a gland can lead to swelling or infection.

Bartholin’s cysts form when the ducts of the Bartholin glands become blocked. These glands normally produce fluid that lubricates the vagina. If fluid builds up, a cyst can form and sometimes become infected.

Pain when sitting or walking
Discomfort during intercourse
Redness or tenderness
